But making notes is the most preferred method among IAS aspirants while preparing for the exam as they are customizable, you can easily edit them and they are also easier to revise.
Solve Mock papers and practice sets more and more. Try to give mock tests as much as you can as it will give you an insight of your preparation and will also tell you about the section which demands your extra attention and time. Also, solve previous year papers as it will help you to increase your speed and accuracy. Mock tests and Papers contribute a lot to your preparation.
Art, culture, ecology and environment are also some of the important topics in Civil Services Examination. A large number of questions come from these topics. So find the best available source to study them. Remember, Scoring will be easy if you have a good command of topics. Take help of standard books rather than wasting time in learning from different books.
Aptitude is another important section. Aptitude paper comprises of four things, mainly: Math, Reasoning, Comprehension, and Decision-making. Pick some standard books and practice as much as you can. At least give 4-5 mock -tests daily and solve each and every question. Try to improve your score and ranking with each mock test you give. Mock tests are also the best way to pick an optional subject for Mains Examination.
