SSC CAPF Exam 2016– The admit card of SSC CAPF Exam 2016 has been issued now. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct an examination for recruitment to the post of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police & Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF on 20 March 2016. Candidates can send their applications either by online mode or offline mode from 09 January 2016 and the last date for accepting the application forms was 05 February 2016. A candidate must be either:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania ( Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar ), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Age Limit (as on 01 January 2016)– Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police & CAPFs and Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF is 20-25 years.
Educational Qualification– Candidates should have possessed a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute. Candidates who are applying for the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motor cycle and Car).
Candidates, who are eligible for the SSC CAPF 2016 Exam as per the provided eligibility criteria, can apply for examination from 09 January 2016 to 05 February 2016. Candidates can select either online mode or offline mode to apply for the examination. To complete the registration process, candidates need to remit an application fee of Rs. 100/- through SBI Challan /Net banking and any credit and debit cards. Female candidates and the candidates belonging to SC, ST and Ex-servicemen category are exempted from payment of application fee.
