SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria 2016– Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination 2016, commonly refer as CHSL Exam, will be conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on 07 January 2017 to 05 February 2017. Candidates who meet all the listed eligibility conditions of SSC CHL 2016 Exam will be able to apply for the examination. The online registration was commenced from 08 October 2016. A candidate must be either:
Candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) must produce a certificate of eligibility, issued by the Government of India at the time of interview else no offer of appointment will be given.
The age of the candidate should be between 18-27 years as on 01 August 2016 i.e. Candidates must not be born before 02 August 1988 and not later than 01 August 1997. Relaxation to specific category candidates will be offered. Check the below table.

Candidates must have qualified 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University as on 01 August 2016.
