UPSC CMS 2018– The official notification of Combined Medical Services 2018 Examination, also referred as CMS Exam, will be released by Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) on 11 April 2018. The examination will be conducted on 22 July 2018 (Sunday). The aspirants who satisfy all the eligibility conditions can apply for the posts of General Duty Medical Officer, Assistant Divisional Medical Officer, Assistant Medical Officer and Junior Scale Posts from 11 April 2018. A candidate must be either:
(a) a Citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India. or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary, may be admitted to the examination, but the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.
Age Limit (as on 1 January 2018)– A candidate’s age must be below than 32 years, i.e. the candidate must have been born not earlier than 2 January 1986.
Educational Qualification- Interested candidates must have qualified the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. Exam for admission to the UPSC Combined Medical Services examination.
Candidates who satisfy all the above-mentioned eligibility criteria can apply for the exam through UPSC CMS Application Form 2018. The link to register online will be provided in this article to help candidates. They can also visit the www.upsconline.nic.in for the same. Before filling up the application form, candidates are requested to read all the instructions which are provided on the website. The last date to apply on-line is 7 May 2018. Candidates are advised to fill the application form before the last date in response to avoid any discrepancy.

The admit card of UPSC Combined Medical Services 2018 will be issued 03 weeks prior to the Examination i.e. in 1st week of July 2018. Candidates will be able to download the same by entering their Registration ID and Date of Birth. Candidates have to bring the admit card at the examination center, while appearing for the examination as without it, no candidates will be allowed to appear in the examination.
The written examination result of UPSC Combined Medical Services 2018 Exam will be declared in the month of September 2018, in the form of pdf file. The file contains the roll number of the shortlisted candidates who will be further called for Personality Test/ Interview for final selection.
